The Integrated Management System (IMS) Specialist supports the implementation, operation and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System, covering Quality, Environment, Sustainability, Information Security and Occupational Health & Safety.
The role works closely with the IMS Manager, as well as production, engineering and external stakeholders, ensuring that processes, controls and action plans are consistently implemented and maintained.
It plays a key role in ensuring compliance with international standards, supporting sustainability and product quality initiatives, and coordinating both internal and external audits.
- Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of the Integrated Management System, ensuring updated documentation, consistent processes and alignment with ISO 9001, 14001, 27001 and 45001.
- Coordinate internal and external audits, including preparation, follow-up of findings and monitoring corrective and preventive actions with the IMS Manager and relevant teams.
- Contribute to sustainability and ESG initiatives by tracking environmental performance, monitoring KPIs, collecting data and supporting improvement actions and reporting.
- Collaborate with Production and Engineering to support product quality activities, monitor deviations, assist in root cause analysis and follow up on improvement plans.
- Support Occupational Health & Safety activities, including risk assessments, preventive measures and monitoring safety controls to ensure compliance with legal and internal requirements.
- Collect and analyze IMS data and KPIs, preparing reports and inputs for management reviews and supporting data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality, Environmental Management, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience working with integrated management systems or ISO based systems.
- Practical experience with at least two of the following standards: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 27001, ISO 45001.
- Experience supporting audits and managing corrective and preventive actions.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to follow up on actions.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, both in Portuguese and English.
