At iU Talent, we believe that true success stems from the perfect combination of happy people, genuine talent, unwavering commitment, and the power of technology. We are currently looking for an HR Operations Specialist (M/F) for a leading company in the Lisbon area.

You’ll be the 2nd member of the People & Culture team, responsible not only for the core operations of HR, but also for employee experience, internal communication, and collaboration with external partners. Your day-to-day will blend compliance, creativity, and people support.

- Own and manage end-to-end HR processes: onboarding, offboarding, payroll processing, compensation & benefits, and legal compliance
- Play an active role in HR core processes such as recruitment, training & development, performance management, and engagement
- Act as the first point of contact for our team, providing clear and consistent support on everything from expenses to absences and occupational health
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations, keeping our processes and our records impeccably updated
- Monitor employee absences, vacations, probation periods, and occupational health needs
- Provide guidance to managers on HR policies and procedures, empowering them to lead effectively
- Drive internal communications (think HR updates and newsletters) and help coordinate employee engagement initiatives and events that strengthen our culture
- Proactively identify opportunities to optimize our HR processes and policies, helping us constantly improve

- Around 3-5 years of professional experience as an HR Operations Specialist or in a similar, hands-on HR role
- Proven experience with payroll processing and a solid understanding of labor law and related administrative procedures (e.g., Social Security, taxes)
- A growth mindset and a strong desire to learn and develop your skills
- Ability to remain confidential about crucial matters and handle sensitive and personal data
- Strong time-management capabilities and meet deadlines dependably
- Ability in problem-solving and great attention to detail
- Team player with the ability to supervise own work to ensure optimal efficiency and compliance with set procedures
- Creative and tech-savvy enough to support occasional internal comms and event coordination using tools like Canva, email platforms, or Excel

- Performance-based bonuses
- Health insurance coverage from day one
- Friendly, supportive environment with regular team events
- Engaging company-wide events and teambuilding activities
- Hybrid work model (1 day remote per week)
- Access to on-site parking
- Flexible working hours
- 24 days of vacation (22 business days + December 24th + Carnival Tuesday)
